Services

The first steps are the hardest, let me walk with you....

Counselling

If you choose to work with me, I can create a counselling service to meet your needs. Counselling sessions can be short term, long term or as a single. Your therapy is as individual as you are, so at “Bee-coming, HOPE” I believe I need to collaborate with you to agree together what you want to achieve from your counselling sessions, how you want to achieve it, and how long that will last. Together we will assess when you feel your needs have been met through your therapy sessions with us. Each session lasts an hour, during that time I will hold a safe and confidential space for you to work through what you wish to do. I can deliver your counselling sessions in a variety of ways, in person, virtually via zoom or FaceTime, on the telephone, or through walking counselling sessions. You are the expert in you. “Bee-coming, HOPE” are there to use our knowledge of well-being interventions or techniques to support your counselling journey to making lasting changes.

Corporate Counselling

I believe that proactive and preventative well-being interventions are fundamental to getting the best out of your employees. I  feel your employees deserve to be the best version of themselves at work so they can thrive. That is why I offer counselling services to your establishment at an agreed time and day to support your workforce. I will hold a safe and confidential space for your employees to take the time to reflect on the stresses and challenges they are facing. By doing this I anticipate that it will have a positive impact on the number of sickness days you will have across your business. Proactive well-being conversations are a key factor in helping employees remain fit and well to continue in their job. Your employees will feel valued and supported by using our corporate counselling services.

Walking Counselling Sessions

Walking therapy is all about combining mindfulness and counselling and is conducted whilst walking outdoors. During the walk, you lead the session, similar to a counselling session in a therapy room. At Bee-coming, Hope we believe that being outside offers some clients a less formal setting which they may feel to be a greater opportunity to express themselves, it often feels less intimidating than a traditional counselling environment. This is a great choice for those who may have felt struck in their therapy in the past, or may be a good way to start counselling for those who feel anxious. We release healthy endorphins when we exercise so walking counselling aids our physical well-being and our mental well-being. It’s also a great way to connect with nature enabling a sense of positive well-being and calmness.

Supervision

Counselling practice issues and dilemmas are often complex, and may vary depending on type of clients, particular modalities of working, the context of the work and the therapeutic interventions provided. The aim of supervision is to provide the supervisee, with a confidential opportunity and space to explore any of those dilemmas and issues with warmth, understanding and guidance, but also empower your growth and learning. The practice issues maybe pertaining to professional, ethical, personal or relational concerns, which are known or unknow by the supervisee. Supervision ultimately will create good foundations upon which any client work can become the sustained focus of our attention, ensuring the welfare of your clients and you remains intact and secure with good emotional well-being.

take the responsibility of developing a supervisee in their professional efficiency, ethical awareness and growth in practice as a privilege. The welfare of my supervisees’ clients and my supervisee’s welfare is paramount and underpinning to my supervision ethos.

My role as your supervisor, on behalf of Bee-coming, Hope Ltd, is to use support, empower and challenge you, the supervisee, to establish and sustain a supervisory relationship. This will be done using the 7 eyed model of supervision.

Bee-coming, Hope Ltd provides confidential and therapeutic counselling, supervision and well-being services. The supervisory work is offered to qualified counsellors, trainee counsellors, groups, or anyone else seeking supervisory support to aid and assist their client caseload. The supervisory services can be offered via any medium as requested by the supervisee (for example face to face or on a remote platform or telephone). When conducting video supervision online, we currently use the Zoom platform, which states it is GDPR-compliant or WhatsApp video calling. If we change this platform, we will give you notice of any changes. I am happy to provide support in how to use these platforms, if the supervisee is not familiar with them.
