Welcome to “Bee-coming, HOPE”. Thank you for visiting my web page today. I want you to be able to find what you need from me today, however, please feel free to call me if you wish to talk further.

Emotional situations can heavily impact the way you are coping every day. The way you feel, the thoughts you have and the emotions you experience. You face challenges of varying degrees and difficulties throughout your life. You may need more help and support now to help cope with your day-to-day life. You may face adversity and challenges which pose great stresses and strains on you, and you may be stuck and unable to deal with the things you need to face. If this resonates with you or reminds you of someone you are worried about give me a call today.

“Bee-coming, HOPE” (HOPE - Helping opportunities and possibilities emerge) offer well-being support and integrative talking therapy to you, but why choose me to be your counsellor?

Everything I do is focused on providing you with HOPE; and that is why I put HOPE, quite literally in my company’s name. I feel my commitment to you should be clear from the start of us working together. I will get to know you and understand your needs in a holistic way. You are an individual and as such I will treat you like one by making sure your counselling experience is tailored to meet your needs.

I will walk alongside you and create a safe space for you to be able to explore those challenges in a non-judgmental way. Using a variety of techniques, I will work in a non-directive way to help you make positive and lasting changes. All our work will be confidential and any records I keep will be kept in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations)

I recognise that you may be a little nervous at the thought of starting counselling. Taking the first steps can be the most difficult. So much uncertainty. To try and make that easier for you I am offering your first session free. I will use that first session to show you what counselling is about, set expectations of what I can offer. You will then be able to make a decision if I am the counsellor for you and you can think about what you want to gain from our time together. Finding the right support for you is very important and vital. I would love to be alongside you, but you need to feel the same. Only then will we begin creating a therapeutic relationship together which will work through your challenges.

You may not be able to travel to a therapy room, or you may simply want the flexibility when making your own choices how to experience counselling with me. That is why I will make available appointments at a time that suits you and in a method that also works with you. I can offer sessions over the phone or virtually via zoom from any location across the UK. This is the beauty of technology now.

If you are more local in the North West of England I can offer you face to face sessions in our therapy rooms or you can make use of walking therapy in local parks/walks. I could also offer a mixture of them if that suits your needs. I want your counselling sessions to be tailored to match what you are looking for.

I have a special interest in working with Bereavement, palliative care, living loss and relationship difficulties. and living loss counselling, along with relationship difficulties. I have experience working with cancer patients and their families.  I can also support with you on many challenges including Anxiety, panic attacks, health anxiety, OCD, Depression, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, Loss, loneliness, abuse, trauma, PTSD, anger management, family issues, Relationships, boundary setting, Stress, work related stress, and many more. Why counselling is Important

Counseling provided by trained professionals can make a profound impact on the lives of individuals, families and communities. It allows a person to talk about their problems and feelings in a confidential and dependable environment. Life is not always easy or straightforward. Therapy can be very effective in helping those who have experienced trauma in their life and may be living with negative and debilitating thoughts and emotions. Some people feel anxious or depressed, or feel disconnected from friends, family or career. Others sometimes describe a lack of purpose in life and a lack of enjoyment in everyday life.  Some people who approach therapy may have addiction problemsanger issues or may have suffered a recent loss or bereavement. There are many reasons people come to a therapist and there is no limit to what can be discussed in therapy.
